Instagram has over 2 billion users and is one of the biggest if not the biggest social media platform. Head over to the website of Instagram and then login to your account if you haven't already, keep in mind that the account that you will be logging into should be the very same account that you want to post content from.
After you have logged into your account that you want to post from, now it's time to navigate the 'plus' symbol which will allow you to post content directly from your pc. Usually you can find the 'plus' symbol/button on a vertical bar at the left hand side of the webpage.
Click on the 'plus' symbol/button which will then allow you to post your content on Instagram, after clicking on this button a new dialog box will open which will then prompt you to select the content that needs to be uploaded.
Now that you have the dialog box open, now is the time to navigate through your files and choose the content that you want to upload to your account. So just navigate through your files and choose the photo or video that you want to upload to your account.
After selecting the piece of content that needs to be uploaded, now is the time to make some final tweaks to it before you make it live on your Instagram profile. From the dialog box that allowed you to choose the piece of content, click the select/open button in the bottom left. This will now take you back to Instagram dashboard and now you will be presented with a mini window that will allow you to make some final tweaks to the content. So now make some tweaks like - adding music, using a filter etc.
After the major tweaks have been made to the content that you wanted to uploaded, now is the time to add the final things to the content like - Adding a caption to the post, adding some hashtags and tagging other relevant accounts that are associated with the post. This concludes the major things that were needed to be done before uploading the content from your PC.
Now is the most satisfying part of this whole process - 'hitting the upload/post button' now that you are happy with how the post looks on Instagram after you've done the tweaks and added a caption. To make your post live on your profile, simply go ahead and click on the post/upload button. After clicking the button, the processing will start and within a few seconds your post will be uploaded onto your Instagram profile.
